Working Principle of MAX6825SUK+T
The MAX6825SUK+T is designed to detect and monitor the supply voltage for 5 different input voltages. It also monitors for temperature changes and has an adjustable timer to alert the system of any voltage or temperature changes. The integrated circuit will detect if any of the supply voltages increase or decrease to an alarming level and the temperature exceeds an adjustable threshold, the Watchdog Timer will initiate a system reset.
The MAX6825SUK+T features an advanced low-power CMOS technology and low-power Supervisory circuit. The Supervisory Circuit compares the supply voltage to a factory-trimmed voltage reference and will operate both in positive-going and negative-going thresholds. The IC also features auto-zeroing upon startup which makes it suitable for high-speed applications. This IC also can work in very low power consumption mode.
The internal Comparator of the MAX6825SUK+T can monitor up to five different supply voltages and provide a precise indication of when a voltage goes above or below its programmed threshold.
