The watchdog circuit comprises an oscillator and a manual-reset (MR) input for resetting the watchdog timer. The watchdog timer is factory-programmable from a few milliseconds to over 500 seconds in steps of 0.001 second. The input supply can range from 1.5V to 15V with internal logic levels compatible with battery-powered systems.
