This supervisor can be used as a simple power-on reset device with a set threshold of 4.63V and an hysteresis level adjustable from + 0.82V to + 1.43V via an external resistor. The MAX706ARESA+ is designed to monitor various power systems, from a 5V to 28V main supply, 5V to 28V auxiliary supply, as well as up to five system-level supplies.
