The MAX707ESA+T finds applications in a variety of consumer, industrial and communications devices. In consumer and electronic design, the device is used to monitor the voltage levels and reset the system in case of an overvoltage event, eliminating the need for discrete components. In automotive and communication systems, the MAX707ESA+T is used to ensure safe power-on sequence and to protect the system from voltage spikes during power-up.The MAX707ESA+T uses a unique, patented programmable reset with manual reset option to provide an adjustable voltage monitoring feature. The device monitors input voltage levels and resets the entire system if the voltage exceeds the preset limit.
