In Normal Mode, theMAX791EPE+ monitors the VDD voltage but doesn’t generate a reset signal.

The MAX791EPE+ is designed to accurately monitor the supply voltage with a voltage threshold of 0.1V to 2V. The hysteresis voltage and reset delay are both adjustable. The reset delay can be adjusted to 0.2 seconds, 0.5 seconds, 1 second, and 2 seconds. The voltage hysteresis is adjustable from 0.1V to 1.5V. The MAX791EPE+ has a start-up time of 1 ms.
