Likewise, the MAX792LCSE+ will monitor the voltage and current levels of any connected subsystems. If any of the voltage or current levels exceed either the pre-set voltage or current limits, the MAX792LCSE+ can trigger an actionable item.
The MAX792LCSE+ also has advanced temperature sensing capabilities. Its temperature sensing capabilities allow it to turn off or reduce its output power when the circuit temperature exceeds pre-set levels, preventing unnecessary power consumption.
