Introduction

When the voltage at pins 4 and 6 is at or below the reference voltage at pin 8, the output of the MAX792MESE+ remains reset low. If the voltage at pins 4 and 6 is above the reference voltage at pin 10, the output of the MAX7921MESE+ goes high. This can be used as a signal to reset and/or power off the system.

The MAX792MESE+ can also be used to provide a reset signal when the output from a power supervisor IC goes low.
