MAXREFDES43# is an evaluation board and kit designed to allow users to quickly and easily evaluate/demonstrate the working principle and features of the MAX14819B, an FIDO-Certified U2F authenticator.The evaluation board is based on the MAX14819B, an FIDO-Certified U2F authenticator, and is offered as a complete evaluation and development platform to facilitate the evaluation, demonstration, and development for the MAX14819B U2F authenticator. The MAXREFDES43# is a high-speed USB 2.0 interface-based evaluation platform which supports full-speed USB transfer rates of 12 Mbps. The board has an embedded on-board USB to UART bridge allowing for easy access to the board\'s UART interface. The evaluation board supports the integrated authenticator module, an on-board processor, temperature sensor, door monitor, firmware loading and two LEDs. The evaluation board comes preloaded with a configuration support firmware to allow users to evaluate, debug and develop the FIDO U2F authenticator. The evaluation board also comes with a graphical user interface (GUI) and a USB-based host driver, which provides the user with an easy and intuitive way to evaluate and demonstrate the MAX14819B U2F authenticator. The GUI can be used to configure the parameters which control the behavior of the authenticator, such as registers, operation modes and more.The evaluation board also comes loaded with an integrated, FIDO-certified, U2F authenticator module. This module supports all FIDO U2F specifications, including the FIDO CTAP2 protocol and fine-grained application-specific security features, such as multi-touch verification, multi-factor authentication, biometric signature and more.
