MBRF600200R Working Principle

The MBRF600200R bridge rectifier works according to the principle of a three-phase bridge circuit. This circuit consists of a three-phase supply, a three-phase bridge rectifier with four diodes and the rectified output in the form of a full wave bridge rectifier. The applied three-phase AC input is converted to three-phase DC, which is delivered to the load. The MBRF600200R has an internal soft-start feature that limits inrush current by gradually increasing the voltage applied to the three-phase input until the desired output voltage is achieved.

The MBRF600200R rectifier also contains an internal EMI filter to minimize EMI noise and interference in the circuit. The EMI filter consists of low pass copper inductors and capacitors that filter out high frequency noise, thus providing a clean and stable output voltage. The filter also helps reduce voltage spikes and transients on the DC bus.

The MBRF600200R device also features integrated overvoltage and overcurrent protection. The overvoltage protection limits the DC bus voltage to a maximum of 600V and the overcurrent protection trips the rectifier when the load current exceeds 200A.
