Working Principle of the MC100EP131FAG Logic - Flip Flop
The MC100EP131FAG is a single 8-pin integrated circuit (IC) Flip Flop unit based on a simple saturated transistor complementary pair. It comprises of an eight-pin dual in-line package (DIP) and is pin compatible with other Flip Flop ICs such as the MC100EP131FAG-G. It produces a complimentary output signal of the same pulse used to trigger the circuit. It also has an open-drain TTL input/output as well as a separate enable input.
The working of the Flip Flop IC is centered around two transistors (TR1 and TR2) connected in a complementary arrangement and a logic control input signal. This input signal can be triggered with a positive signal or a negative signal by controlling its voltage level (high or low).
