MC100ES8011HEF is an ECL Clock Buffer/Driver and it is a member of the MC100 family of high-performance ECL. It provides a fanout capability of 8 LSTTL loads. The ES8011HEF may be used as an inverting clock buffer, fanout buffer and clock driver with a single drive capability of 100 mA. It provides very fast logic compatible outputs with a typical output transition time of 24.9 ps, and a propagation delay of 6.3 ns.
The MC100ES8011HEF is a PC board mounted type of buffer and has 8 outputs which are designed to complement a single ECL input. The MC100ES8011HEF can function either as a line driver, fanout buffer or to increase fanout for a low drive line. The ECL input transitions as fast as 4.4 ns, and the outputs provide TTL compatible logic levels.
The MC100ES8011HEF has a number of features which lead to an increased performance and increased efficiency.
