The terms “clock generator”, “PLL”, and “frequency synthesizer” are often used interchangeably when referring to the MC100LVEL34DTR2G.In addition to its primary clock generation capabilities, the MC100LVEL34DTR2G also provides a wide range of features and benefits for various applications. The MC100LVEL34DTR2G utilizes an integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and an advanced frequency divide-by-programmed (DFP) to generate the desired clock speeds. Through this technology, the device can generate a staggering 1GHz maximum output frequency. It is also able to synchronize up to three output signals simultaneously, even at 800MHz speeds.
