The MCBXC167-BASIC is a new evaluation board that integrates a Microcontroller based (MCU) Control Unit (CPU) into a single board. This board can be used to develop firmware applications for embedded systems, and to evaluate and test the effectiveness of hardware and software components.The MCBXC167-BASIC board is based on the Infineon XC167-BASIC microcontroller, which is a single-chip, 16-bit RISC processor. This microcontroller has a 16-bit data bus and supports up to 16 registers or 2K bytes of RAM. In addition, the board supports the use of external RAM and flash memory for larger applications and is powered by a 5V power supply.The board includes an 8Mhz crystal oscillator for use in timing applications, and a programmable interrupt controller to enable interrupt handling. A boot loader provided with the board simplifies application development. The board also comes with a debugger and debugging breakout board for easy debugging and debugging of applications.The MCBXC167-BASIC board also features an on-board Ethernet port and USB interface for connection to external devices. A secondary GPIO connector is available to connect additional external hardware to the board.The MCBXC167-BASIC board is designed to be used in a wide variety of embedded system applications.
