If the voltage is higher than the Vref, the controller will switch the HS and LS transistors to decrease the output voltage.The MCP1631-E/ML controllers also feature integrated power supply tracking and power-on-reset (POR), programmable soft-start/soft-stop, adjustable frequency and wide range of output voltages (4 V – 16 V).
