The MCP1632T-AAE/MS is a fully integrated, single output, high-performance, pulse width modulation (PWM) DC-DC switching controller that offers improved power efficiency and accuracy for DC-DC power supplies. It includes a low noise, high accuracy current sense amplifier, an error amplifier, a pulse generator, a control logic block, an LED indicator, and a voltage detection circuit. It has a digitally adjustable output voltage in 50mV steps from 0.8V to 4.6V, with over-voltage protection and over-current protection in the form of a hiccup-mode latchoff under severe fault conditions.
