MCP1653ST-E/UN devices provide an integrated high-frequency, high-current and low-loss solution for DC-DC buck controllers driving off-line, non-isolated switched-mode power supplies (SMPSs). The device allows flexible voltage regulation control with excellent efficiency through operating frequencies up to 500 kHz. The device features Pulse-by-Pulse current limiting and allows for user adjustable voltages for both the input supply and the output voltage.
The MCP1653ST-E/UN is an Integrated High-Frequency Low-Dropout Linear Regulator. It features a wide input range from 2.5 V to 30 V, a very low 40 mV dropout voltage, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The device has a very low combined output noise and low-load output currents.
Applications for this device include powering applications such as personal computers, servers, digital cameras, camcorders, audio amplifiers, and a variety of wireless products.
