The MCP6562-E/MS is a low power, open-drain, low-dropout precision comparator belonging to the Linear-Comparators family. Featuring an input range of 500μV, it is suitable for portable consumer applications where input sensitivity is needed, as well as light industrial applications. It incorporates a fast response time of 8µs, is featured with a very low power consumption of 2.6mW and operates on a single supply voltage of 1.8V to 7.0V. Additionally, it also features an open-drain output type and offers a maximum of 2 million comparators per second.

The MCP6562-E/MS is great choice for applications in consumer, light industrial and automotive. It can be used for low-voltage and low-power applications, such as motor-control or sensing applications. It also is good choice for controlling, monitoring and regulating a range of sophisticated equipments like battery and fuel gauge management systems, power supplies, temperature and pressure sensors and safety devices.
