The MCP6V27-E/MD is an instrumentation op amp, commonly used in signal conditioning, signal conversion, and data acquisition for industrial and test systems. It’s characterized by high-speed performance and superior accuracy. The MCP6V27-E/MD works through the application of Operational Amplifier (Op Amp) principles. It provides excellent speed and accuracy for low-level, high-resolution signals in the presence of high-frequency signal bandwidths. The device integrates a current-gain amplifier, and its wide signal bandwidth (BW) gives the amplifier superior accuracy and sharp response.

The MCP6V27-E/MD includes a low output current (IOUT=-280mA) and a high output voltage (VOUT=-40V). This combination makes the device ideal for cascading multiple signals without signal distortion or degradation. Additionally, it provides support for accurate signal filtering, signal amplification, signal splitting, and signal interpolation.

The MCP6V27-E/MD also integrates an enable control, allowing the user to enable or disable the op amp quickly. When the enable signal is active, the output of the amplifier is disabled.
