Working Principle

The MDD950-22N1W is composed of four diodes which form a bridge rectifier circuit. This bridge rectifier circuit will block unwanted reverse currents and provide unidirectional voltage protection. During a forward conduction mode, most of the surge is shunted to its bypass diode, limiting the voltage and current that reaches the protected component.
