MHSP-2510

MHSP-2510 is a highly reliable power supply module designed space-saving applications with limited power supplies. It features low ripple noise, short circuit protection, and overvoltage protection. It is economically priced and ideal for use in some miniaturised systems.

The MHSP-2510 features excellent power regulation and the power output is adjustable to 0 - 28V. It can supply up to 2.5A at a constant current and offers a low ripple noise from 30 mVpp to 40 mVpp.

The input voltage range is from 9 - 24V, and the power supply module is equipped with a thermal cut-off device to ensure its safe operation. It also has current limiting and short circuit protection features to protect the device from harm. A PFC function is also included, which can reduce the electromagnetic interference.

Working Principle

The MHSP-2510 uses a switching technology to convert the input voltage into the desired output voltage. The module has a main switching power MOSFET which is controlled by a PWM controller. The input voltage is chopped by the switching MOSFET, and the chopped voltage is then rectified and filtered to provide the output voltage.

The high power efficiency of the switching power supplies is due to the fact that the current through the MOSFET is switched on and off at a high frequency. This allows for smaller constructions and lighter weight, while maintaining high efficiency. The efficiency of the mHSP-2510 can reach 90% or more.

The module also incorporates protection features to protect against overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit conditions. The MHSP-2510 can also be used in high temperature environments, as it is rated to operate at temperatures up to 70°C.
