The MIC2186YQS-TR is a fixed-frequency, current-mode, PWM controller designed for switching regulator applications. It is optimized for flyback converters and other switched-mode voltage regulator applications that require minimum component count and a low cost. The MIC2186YQS-TR integrates an internal linear regulator, power output and control switches, a current sense circuit, an overvoltage protection circuit, and soft start and enabled functions. It also provides soft off and power-saving functions.

The MIC2186YQS-TR provides adjustable output voltage between 1V and 24V and operates at 16V input. It includes an internal 2.5V reference with 0.5% accuracy and also provides a full internal protection suite including over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protections.
