Working Principle

The MIC2213-JSYML-TR voltage regulator module works by converting the input voltage (Vin) to a regulated output voltage (Vout). The device consists of an N-Channel MOSFET, a PNP pass transistor, a thermal shutdown circuit and various other components. The MOSFET controls the voltage drop across the pass transistor, while the thermal shutdown circuit limits the output voltage when the die temperature exceeds 150°C.The N-Channel MOSFET is used to control the current flow through the pass transistor, and is also responsible for controlling the drop-out voltage of the module.
