Thistechnology enables the detection of a wide range of gasparticles, including toxic gases such as carbon monoxide,hydrogen sulfide, and nitrogen dioxide. The device alsoincludes a gas-sensing amplifier and an analog-to-digitalconverter (ADC) which convert the analog signals associatedwith a particular type of gas particle into digital signals thatcan be processed by the PMIC. The ADC also allows thesupervisory IC to adjust its sensitivity according to therequired level.

The MIC2775-46YM5-TR supervisor IC also includeson-chip temperature sensing capabilities. It offers a temperaturesensing range of -40℃ to +125℃ and the device can detecttemperatures up to +150℃. The MIC2775-46YM5-TR supervisor IC also features awatchdog timer which allows the detection of micro-processorerrors and can generate a reset/interrupt during systemfailure. The watchdog timer has a maximum time-out period of2.7 seconds and has a programmable window watchdogfunction. This allows the supervisor to be configured tomonitor system operation and generate a reset/interrupt ifcertain conditions are met.
