The MIC49150-1.8YMM is a high-accuracy, low-power linear voltage regulator, a type of Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC). The RPS supplies power to the error amplifier and bandgap circuit, and also provides power to the output stage, which produces the regulated output voltage. The error amplifier senses the output of the bandgap reference and the output voltage, and adjusts the duty cycle of the RPS in order to maintain a constant output voltage.In addition, the MIC49150-1.8YMM offers a variety of features to enhance system performance, reliability, and convenience. It has a built-in high-accuracy voltage reference, over-current protection, soft start-up/ shut down, thermal shutdown protection, as well as several additional features to simplify system development. The MIC49150-1.8YMM is available in a 16-pin ESOP package and is specified over the extended -40°C to +125°C temperature range. It is RoHS compliant and is available in production quantities.
