The MIC5282YMM Voltage Regulator is a low-noise linear voltage regulator designed to accurately regulate input voltage in a range of 2V to 15V. It is part of a family of devices based on the industry-standard TO-220 package and is constructed using a two-stage voltage regulation technique to provide accuracy, stability and low noise output over the input range. This regulator is ideal for regulating voltage requirements for high-speed processors, memory and other high-performance applications.
The MIC5282YMM operates from a single input voltage source and can provide up to 1.4A of continuous output current for both positive and negative voltages. The MIC5282YMM also provides control of the Micro-Switch, allowing it to be used to shut down the device in areas where there is no power.
