Working Principle
The working principle of the MIC5318-1.5YMT-TR is relatively simple; it works by continually comparing the applied input voltage to its internally set output voltage. The difference between the two is referred to as the “error voltage” or errant voltage. If the input voltage is lower than the desired output voltage, the regulator will adjust its internal reference voltage to increase the output voltage until it matches the input voltage.
