Working Principle

The MICRF005YM module consists of two stages; the low-noise amplifier (LNA) and the mixer. The LNA amplifies signals in the frequency range from 2.4GHz to 2.7GHz with up to 12.7dB of gain, while adding minimal noise. The LNA offers excellent linearity and stability, while the tall metal can with BGA package ensures low noise figure. The mixer, on the other hand, converts signals within a signal range of 0.18GHz to 2.25GHz to an intermediate frequency (IF) range of 0.3GHz to 2.5GHz. The BGA package also features an on-chip input capacitor and a selectable output bias voltage that supports various external components.

As part of the BT module, the MICRF005YM offers a low-noise input amplifier designed for use in a wide variety of applications. It provides a high gain level, easy integration with the system, and a wide operating temperature range. The device includes an internal low-noise amplifier (LNA) and mixer, allows for direct connection to the IF filter. With a single-ended input and output stage, it ensures good linearity and stability for secure and reliable wireless communication.
