It’s a highly reliable, compact module with a wide variety of applications.Opto-isolator modules provide optical isolation between various circuits or logical systems, and are commonly used in applications where high common-mode transient or surge voltage protection is needed in various digital-signal processing systems.The MID400V features an LED-type opto-isolator for optical signal transmission between two electrical systems, and integrated functions to convert the signals between a voltage output, such as TTL or CMOS, and TTL/CMOS logic outputs. This makes the MID400V suitable for a variety of digital-signal applications, such as digital logic signals, fire/smoke alarms, field-bus systems, communication devices, PLCs, and motor controls.In addition, the MID400V is designed in such a way that it allows for a higher signal-transmission rate than other opto-isolator modules, making it suitable for applications where a high transfer rate is required. The working principle of the MID400V opto-isolator module is based on the principle of light transmission.
