The MIKROE-1397 evaluation board is an embedded platform for development of applications based on the ARM Cortex-M0+ MCU, DSP, microcontroller (MCU) and digital signal processor (DSP) architectures. The board features ARM’s Cortex-M0+ architecture, the low-power “Energy Efficient ARMv6-M Unified Core” core (VUE-6M) manufactured on a 65nm process. This board is plugged into a standard breadboard and is intended for use with other devices.

The core of MIKROE-1397 is a core ARM Cortex-M0+ processor. This processor is a 32-bit processor with an instruction set optimized for low-power and low-cost embedded applications. The processor includes a rich set of peripherals used for communication, analogue and digital signal processing, memory, interrupt handling and general purpose control.

The processor runs off a 25MHz clock frequency and supports both the ARMv6-M and Thumb study instruction sets.
