The MINI51TAN is an 8-bit embedded microcontroller designed for use in a variety of applications. The design is based on the low-power 8051 architecture and offers many advantages, making it attractive for use in industrial and consumer applications.The Mini51TAN provides ultra-low power consumption, with very low static and dynamic power consumptions. The Mini51TAN also has an integrated 10-bit power-on-reset and ten-pin extended-functionality peripherals. This includes a UART, SPI, and programmable I/O ports. It also includes General-Purpose Timer/Counters, with 14-bit PWM and 8-bit pulse width counter.The Mini51TAN offers three memory-mapped system buses. The Program Memory Access (PMAC) bus is 8 address bits, 1 data bit, and 8 control signals. This is a direct-access bus for loading, executing, and debugging of programs and external data. The Data Memory Access (DMAC) bus is 8 address bits and 8 data bits. This allows separate access to data in internal or external code or data memories. Finally, the Registers bus is 5 address bits, 8 data bits, and 2 control signals that provide direct access to the peripherals registers.The use of the powerful and versatile Flash memory, coupled with the very low power consumption makes Mini51TAN ideal for cost-sensitive industrial, automotive and consumer applications. It also has an Operating Mode feature that enables low-power consumption for extreme battery operated activities, such as portable medical equipment, remote control and other applications that have severe constraints on power consumption.The Mini51TAN offers an integrated Hardware Watchdog Timer and a Temperature-Compensated DC-DC converter for extended battery life, allowing for a wide range of design flexibility. It also has an integrated oscillator that can be used to eliminate the need for an external crystal oscillator, making it ideal for embedded applications and reducing design cost.The Mini51TAN utilizes Keil C/C++ Microcontroller Development Kit (MDK). This is an industry-standard development kit that simplifies application development and debugging. The Mini51TAN offers enhanced debug capabilities and many practical features, such as Flash programming, advanced JTAG or power-on-reset erasable and rewritable non-volatile memory.The Mini51TAN is optimized to offer an efficient and reliable experience in application operations, such as light load systems, motors, automation, and remote control. It is an ideal solution for applications that require low power and high-performance computing capabilities.
