The MJE4343G is a type of bipolar junction transistor (BJT) designed for power switching applications. It is a single cylindrical package device, meaning it has two pins for the base and two for the collector and emitter. This NPN type of BJT is best suited to switching low-level current, although it can also handle high voltage and power.

The MJE4343G makes use of a P-type base and an N-type collector and emitter to control the flow of current. The current flow is determined by the amount of voltage applied to the base. When the voltage is low, the device is “OFF” and no current flows. When the voltage is high, the transistor is “ON” and current flows.
