The MK1726-08S is an intermediate frequency synthesizer designed for you to use and apply in your projects with ease and dependability. The core features of the MK1726-08S are the ability to generate various intermediate frequency frequencies, their fully integrated phase locked loop, flexible programmable reference clock sources, and more.The main application field of MK1726-08S is the frequency synthesis and generation of various intermediate frequency signals. While it can be employed in a variety of different applications, the typical use cases of this device are in the fields of communication protocols, digital video and television broadcasting, GPS navigation, and digital radio broadcast systems.The working principle of the MK1726-08S is that it divides the input reference frequency into several outputs using a PLL (phase locked loop) system. This allows the device to be highly efficient and accurate.In the PLL system of the MK1726-08S, an accurate reference clock of the right frequency is required in order for the frequency multiplication process to work correctly. This reference clock can be provided via a variety of sources such as crystal oscillators, VCXO, or from a local oscillator circuit.
