Additionally, the device has a divide-by-two function, which enables it to generate two outputs simultaneously; a lower-frequency clock signal and a higher-frequency signal that is half the frequency of the input signal.The MM74HC4046SJX also features an adjustable loop band-width, allowing advanced users to fine-tune the responsiveness of the frequency synthesizing circuit.
