MP3313GC-Z LED driver is a highly-integrated pulse width modulation (PWM) LED driver for driving the LED chain from one end to the other end. It supports up to 5 channels of LED current, voltage monitoring, and an adjustable PWM current control. It features an on-board linear regulator providing a regulated output voltage of 3.3 V and a highly-efficient internal high-side driver up to 20W/thermal design power.

MP3313GC-Z Working Principle
The MP3313GC-Z LED driver is a DC-DC step-down/step-up/step-down converter, also known as a buck-boost converter. It works by switching between two power converters. The "step-down" converter reduces the higher input voltage to a lower output voltage. The "step-up" converter increases the lower input voltage to a higher output voltage. The MP3313GC-Z uses a pulse width modulation (PWM) technique to switch between these two power converters. In addition, it uses an internal high-side driver to convert low voltage input to high voltage output to optimize efficiency.
The MP3313GC-Z LED driver’s output is adjustable from 1A to 5A. It is rated for up to 20W/thermal design power (TDP). The output voltage of the device is adjusted by an internal voltage regulation circuit and an external reference voltage.
