The MPC555CME is an evaluation board from the embedded systems hardware product line by Freescale Semiconductor (formerly Motorola Semiconductor). This board is based on Freescale\'s PowerPC 5xx series processor. The MPC555CME is a combination of a compact, low-power, high-performance, single-board computer and on-board PowerPC 5xx processor system. It is suitable for a variety of embedded system applications, such as industrial, automotive, medical, military, and commercial applications.

The MPC555CME connects certain resources of the PowerPC processor to an external bus (PCI or ISA) to allow the use of certain specialized peripherals.
