The MPC9447AC is a high speed, low power, clock/timing buffer and driver with logic capability. It is designed to increase the insertion bandwidth of high speed clock/timing signals, address the signal integrity issues of long trace lengths, and reduce system noise on the signal path.

The MPC9447AC is an ideal solution for high performance systems that use multiple clock and data paths. It is a programmable, low power, four-to-one multiplexing clock/timing buffer and driver with logic capability. It includes a synchronous multiplexer that can select from among four incoming clock/timing signals and a group of delay registers that set the drive strength and output timing of the selected signal. The multiplexer can also be programmed to select the signal with the least jitter, or the one which will provide the highest signal integrity for the system.

The MPC9447AC has four separate input clock/timing signals and a single output signal that is four times faster than the input signal. The device can be programmed to multiplex the signals with either a single or dual-frequency output signal. The four signal inputs can be driven together or individually depending on the application, and the outputs can be driven to either high or low levels depending on the application.

The MPC9447AC features a differential PECL / LVDS compatible input and output structure and an asynchronous reset input, making it suitable for multiple clock and data sources with different clock speeds and different logic levels.
