MPI001/TERM/RD Application Field and Working Principle

MPI001/TERM/RD belongs to a type of Pushbutton Switches. It is generally used for giving power to circuits, controlling circuits and sending signals. Pushbutton Switches are mainly used for industrial and professional applications. MPI001/TERM/RD are categorized as single pole double throw pushbutton switches. They possess three terminals, from which two are used for connecting to two different circuits, and the other one serves as the common terminal, common for both circuits.Typically, the two circuits connected to this switch can be a horn, a lamp, and any other kind of sensor. When the pushbutton of the switch is pressed, the two circuits get connected and hence, their current flows through the common terminal. When the switch is released, the two circuits become disconnected and the current stops flowing.As this pushbutton is used majorly in industrial applications, it is designed in a way to ensure long-lasting durability, even after being used continuously. It withstands any operation in ambient temperatures from -40˚C to +85˚C and up to 1 million cycles in medium duty switch and up to 10 million cycles in heavy duty switch.They possess a great design and are perfect for maintaining a corrosion-free atmosphere, due to their plastic actuators, bezels and other parts.
