MV5453 is extremely versatile with a wide variety of connection possibilities for either common-anode or -cathode applications. Common-anode connections are internally connected to the power supply and may be connected by numerous methods. Common-anode connections may be very quickly connected by simply tying both R and T of the power supply together. Common-cathode connections may be connected directly to the power supply. If maximum flexibility is desired, discrete connections can be made to each T or the R of the power supply. The LED indicator is also equipped with a feedback LED to indicate when an appropriate voltage is present on the device’s power supply pins. This allows the designer to know when a proper voltage is present, allowing instant feedback on a connection or a missing power source.
