Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) are a powerful tool for transforming continuous analog data into discrete digital data that can be more easily manipulated and analyzed. The MX7828LCWI+T is a high-performance, 8-bit, monolithic, multi-channel low-power analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that is especially suitable for use in applications ranging from the most sophisticated laboratory measurements to simple, low-cost sensor networks.
The MX7828LCWI+T has an 8-channel input for various analog signals, including voltage, temperature and flow, and converts them into digital values with a resolution of 0.5LSB or better. The conversion speed of the device is up to 1MSPS and the conversion time is specified at 5μs. The MX7828LCWI+T supports a wide range of input sources, including 2.5 V to 5.5 V and 5 V to 25 V, and has an adjustable gain, offset and linear range.
