MXL1543BCAI+ is an integrated IC designed for interface applications, such as drivers, receivers, and transceivers. The device has been designed to provide a low power and reliable interface between various mixed-signal ICs and has been optimized for applications requiring flexible signal conditioning.

MXL1543BCAI+ provides various integrations such as high performance, low power consumption, linearity and wide (4.5V) to low (0.9V) voltage operation. The device is implemented with an efficient power management scheme that can reduce the current consumption to only 30μA in stand-by state, thus providing highest efficiency even at low power conditions. It implements a sophisticated mapping function between analog, digital and serial data inputs. Additionally, the device can be implemented in a multi-interface, i.e. as a serial interface with an impedance matching resistor, or an analog and I2C interface.

The device uses an adaptive voltage scaling to adjust the necessary voltage on each input. This adaptive voltage scaling reduces the power consumption by minimizing the current required during high performance or low-noise conditions. Adaptive voltage scaling also improves the linearity of the device, thus providing more accurate signal data transfer.
