It utilizes a low capacitance circuit design which helps to achieve a very low equivalent series resistance (ESR). This low ESR helps to achieve a high-speed response time, enabling the part to effectively protect electrical and electronic components from transients extremely quickly.The MXLCE40A also incorporates a transient suppression element, which helps to quickly divert the transient energy away from protected devices, preventing them from becoming damaged.
