<p>The NC7SZ18P6X logic signal switches, multiplexers, decoders and their applications are widely used in various communication circuits due to their high data rate, high performance, and excellent versatility. It is designed to enable the efficient and reliable transmission of digital data from one point to multiple destinations and can be deployed in many applications, ranging from low cost consumer electronics, to military and aerospace embedded applications.</p><p>The NC7SZ18P6X is a single chip, multi-channel, high speed, low power CMOS device with on-chip serializer/deserializer (SerDes) functionality. It provides a choice of six different switching technologies, each of which has its own unique set of features and advantages.</p><p>The main features of this device are that the switch architecture consists of 6 independent sets of three separate transistors and each of these sets can independently choose between 3 different input signals and 8 different output signals. This allows a variety of different configurations, depending on the requirements of the application. The output of each set can be controlled to generate any logic level, from 0 to VDD. The device also contains a wide range of integrated protection and monitoring circuits, including Hot Swap functionality, fast overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection, temperature monitoring and shutdown, short circuit protection and power up/down sequencing.</p><p>The NC7SZ18P6X operates at a supply voltage of 1.5V to 3.3V with typical I/O operation at 2.5V.
