The NCP1010ST100T3 is an integrated monolithic AC/DC converter with a primary-side regulation. The converter operates using quasi-resonant-mode to provide high efficiency, wide output voltage range and high power factor performance, while breaking the conventional boundaries of low-cost, small size, low standby power and no optocoupler. It is ideal for use in a variety of offline applications such as LED lighting, digital televisions, and AC/DC adapters with power factor correction. The NCP1010ST100T3 is a part of an AC/DC converter family from ON Semiconductor. The device offers single-output performance with a maximum output power of 100W and supports wide input range from 88 to 305 VAC. It provides high power effective regulation with feedback voltage range from 8 to 42 VDC, enabling the use of wide range of transformer turns ratio for better flexibility and cost savings. The NCP1010ST100T3 offers an adjustable output voltage range from 0 to 30V and provides ±5% programmable output voltage accuracy over a wide temperature range. The device integrates a leading edge quasi-resonant primary-side control integrated circuit that works with ON Semiconductor’s Zero Power Switch (ZPS ) technology to enable reliable and low cost secondary-side regulation.The NCP1010ST100T3 utilizes an advanced control loop to optimize the performance of the power supply. It operates in continuous conduction mode and PFC control using an interleaved power factor correction technique to achieve high power factor. The device also supports an output power of up to 100W while maintaining high efficiency and low operating noise. It employs Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS ) topology, providing high efficiency and low EMI performance.
