The NCP1341GEVB is a high-performance, high-accuracy, adjustable synchronous buck-boost converter evaluation board offering a complete system solution for the NCP1341GE Intelligent Power Switch (IPS) controller device. It is specifically designed for applications that require a wide input voltage range and high efficiency, such as advanced power management systems, embedded systems, servers, and desktop PCs.

The NCP1341GEVB evaluation board provides a free-running buck-boost DC/DC topology using the NCP1341GE as the main driver. With this setup, the NCP1341GEVB can accept an input voltage ranging from 3V to 32V, and output a regulated voltage between 0.2V and 20V. This feature makes it ideal for applications that require wide input voltage sources, such as those that operate from 12V to 24V automotive batteries and those that use alternate energy sources. It also offers a wide range of switching frequency (between 20kHz and 500kHz) and up to 92% of efficiency.

In terms of features, the NCP1341GEVB offers several protection and control functions which allow for easy integration into an application. It has auto-retry as well as an optional over-voltage protection (OVP) and over-current protection (OCP).
