Working Principle

At the start of the switching operation, the high-side and low-side MOSFETs are off, and the ERM is off. The high-side MOSFET turns on, along with the ERM, and the internal GATE driver signals the high-side and low-side MOSFETs and keeps them turned on. When the switch node voltage reaches the set threshold voltage, the High-side MOSFET turns off, and the sensing voltage of the output voltage is applied across the low-side MOSFET.
