The NCP1071STBT3G is a state of the art integrated AC-DC converter and offline switcher for PMIC or power management integrated circuits. It consists of a high-efficiency synchronous rectifier plus a ripple-controlled avalanche-proof high-side MOSFET, with an integral gate driver, a simple N-channel topology and a low external component count. The integrated synchronous rectifier not only eliminates power losses, but also prevents the need for external diodes. The integrated gate driver eliminates the need for additional gate drive components, and the simple N-channel topology eliminates the need for complicated output rectifier components.

The device is designed to address industrial PMIC applications requiring reliable and efficient power conversion with minimal external components. It is also capable of providing inrush current protection and of accepting a wide input voltage range for applications requiring voltage conversions from 9V-68V. It has an output range of 10W continuous with capability up to 15W for short interval periods.
