NCP130AMX110TCG is a low noise, low output voltage adjustable three terminal linear regulator with the ability to provide up to 375mA of output current. It consists of an internal adjustable reference, an error amplifier, a current limiter, and a series pass element. It has temperature compensated current limit and thermal overload protection to provide maximum power output. The adjustable reference provides stable system voltage from 0.6V to 5V, depending on the reference precision and the external resistor.
The error amplifier compares the output voltage to the reference voltage and adjusts the output voltage according to the voltage difference. The current limit circuit regulates the current flowing through the pass element, reducing the internal power dissipation.
