The NCP1399AHDR2G features a variety of integrated protection features including overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, auto-restart and more. These features ensure that the device is protected from any unexpected failure of the connected load or other external influences. Additionally, the integrated monotonic start-up circuitry provides soft start from cold start of the converter, reducing inrush current and preventing disruption of the connected load.
In addition to the integrated protection features, the NCP1399AHDR2G also includes a wide range of programmable options, such as adjustable switching frequency, adjustable dead-time should it be required and adjustable peak-to-peak power from 75W to 180W. These options allow the user to customize the device for their specific application.
