Working Principle of NCP1603D100R2
This part uses a unique combination of direct control loops and frequency modulated average current control, a feature not found in other PFC controllers. In addition to the direct control loops, it also includes a current droop control loop. This feature continuously adapts the duty cycle of the converter to the amount of load, ensuring optimum system efficiency.
The direct control loops of this PFC controller have different objectives. One loop monitors and controls the output voltage of the system.
