NCP3063BDR2G is a low dropout linear regulator (LDO) designed for use in a variety of applications such as powering microcontrollers, processor cores, on-board power supplies, FPGA/DSPs, and other sensitive circuitry. This device can be used to replace battery chargers or other voltage sources used in applications such as security systems, medical equipment, industrial controls, and HVAC systems. This BiCMOS process ensures high-performance and high-endurance for the device, and also allows for a wide input voltage range. The quiescent current of the NCP3063BDR2G is typically 2mA, and the low quiescent current allows the NCP3063BDR2G to be used in applications with tight power requirements.The NCP3063BDR2G has a wide range of operating temperature range and offers a power-OK output which can be used to monitor the power supply.
